The HD Drive is exactly what I needed and has been set up to do what it says on the packet as it were.

This removable storage drive is excellent for backing up and archiving data. The drive is designed to fit snugly into the drive bay on top of the latest Medion PCs. This means it can be attached simply without adding to the mess of leads which surround most PCs. A USB lead is provided with the unit but has not been necessary with my PC.

Good quality product I already have two HDDrives but having purchased a new Medion computer I find the new docking station no longer fits the old Drives! forcing me to buy a new HDDrive due to connections being in a different position. Is this fair to customers! Apart from that i find Medion products excellent value and excellent quality.

Build quality is fantastic better than previous western digital "my book". Plugs straight into my base unit, no wires no hassle very easy to install,plug and go!

The external drive is very robust and compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. A well manufactured product.
