I am very pleased with this Sat Nav,

This is the fourth Sat Nav system I have purchased from Medion, over the years I have found them to be useful and relatively stress free, though in trying to update my last map system with the assistance of experts on the phone, it is no longer recognised by my computer and fails to come alive. Hence my recent purchase.
Help to tell me if I am buying what I am hoping the unit will do what i want.
Disappointed with the software being Q2/2011 not Q4/2011
The unit locked and did not function for 4 hours, I may have contributed pushing too many buttons too quickly.

Directions are clear with voice that is not annoying like similar products. info on display is minimised but informative allowing greater area on screen for the clear map. Having seen friends' sat navs of other makes I have come to appreciate the medion even more. A well thought out gadget.
I am 'retired' engineer and I use the Sat Nav to navigate me safely on my travels around UK and the Continent.I would recommend the instrument to all my friends and aquaintences as superb and easy to us.
The design and build quality of the device is outstanding. The software is logical and easy to negotiate. It is also beautiful 'looking' and apleasure to 'handle' and see in my car.
I use it to plan journeys on my new motorbike and it functions beautifully in that role.
I have already recommended this item and the Medion brand in general to many of my friends,colleagues and acquaintances.
Excellent product.Makes travel so much easier and stressless. I love the large screen. I would recommened it to anyone who was interested.
ease of use .have tried to set up 2 locations to drive to using street junctions and street and building number. the map did not recognise one of the streets even when it was located on the map provided also the second using street number traced the destination some 1/2 mile out of position.
The unit looks very nice and is certainly easy to use
